Reverend

MICHAEL A. MARTIN, SR., SENIOR PASTOR

Reverend Michael A. Martin, Sr. has served as our senior pastor since November 2023.  He is passionate about preaching, teaching, discipleship, leadership, and mentoring.  He delivers powerful sermons each week to help us grow in Christ and have a better understanding of his word.

Reverend Martin is a born-again, blood-washed, Bible-believing child of The Most High God.  Reverend Martin has been Pastoring for (20) years, both in VA and in North Carolina.  He received his call into the ministry on May 1, 1999.  He was licensed to preach on October 20, 2003, at Salem Baptist Church, in Red Oak, Virginia, and was ordained on October 17, 2004, at Salem Baptist Church, through The Bluestone Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. 

Reverend Martin has attended Divinity and Theology Schools at, Virginia Union University, Apex School of Theology, Shaw University, Saint Augustine’s University, and Lebanon School of Theology. He is currently enrolled in the Bachelor's Program at Cedars of Lebanon Theological Seminary in Roxboro, North Carolina.

Pastor Martin currently is a member of The East Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Association; The Person County Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (PCIMA), in Roxboro, North Carolina; and Minister in Fellowship at Lawson Chapel Baptist Church in Roxboro, North Carolina (Rev. Dr. Langston Logan, Pastor).

Reverend Martin is married to Cynthia Epps Martin.  They are parents of (4) Children, (14) Grandchildren and (1)
Great-grandchild.
